Race Information
The Labor Day Half Marathon will take place at Salisbury Park. Salisbury Park is located just north of Hess Rd on Motsenbocker Rd in Parker, CO.
To access the park from C-470, exit at Parker Rd and travel south. Turn right on Hess Rd and then turn right on Motsenbocker Rd. The park will be on your right.
You can also access the park via I-25.
- From the south, exit at Castle Pines Parkway and travel east. Turn left on Motsenbocker Rd. The park will be on your right.
- From the north, exit at Ridgegate Parkway and travel east. Turn right on Motsenbocker Rd. The park will be on your left.
Overflow parking will be in the dirt lots on the south side of the park.

You can also pick up your race packet on race morning at the race site. Race day packet pick-up closes at the start of the last race.
Course Info
The Labor Day Half Marathon will take place at Salisbury Park in Parker. The race will travel through the park and onto the Cherry Creek Trail. The course is out and back for all distances. The entire course is paved.
Aid stations will be located at miles 1, 3.1, 5, 6.5, 8, 10 and 12 in the half marathon; miles 1, 3.1 and 5 in the 10K; and miles 1 and 2 in the 5K. They will have water and Gatorade. There will be gels at the half marathon turn around aid station (6.5 miles).
There will be three restrooms along the course – one permanent structure and two port-a-johns – that you will pass twice in the half marathon. The approximate mileage points of these units will be at 0.5, 2.2, 5, 8, 10.8 and 12.6 miles. In the 10K, you will pass restrooms at 0.5, 2.2, 3.9 and 5.6 miles. In the 5K, you will pass the permanent restroom at McCabe Meadows at 0.5 miles and then again at 2.6 miles.
Bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates are not allowed in the race.
Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash of six feet or less.
Time Limit
The finish line will close at 11:00 AM.
Awards
There will be an awards ceremony near the finish line after the race. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner in each race as well as the top three in each age group. Age groups are as follows:
Half Marathon and 10K – 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39…… up to 80 and over
5K – 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29…… up to 80 and over
Time Limit
The finish line will close at 11:00 AM.

Can’t make it to one of our races on race morning but still want to participate or support our charity? Then choose the virtual option when registering. Weather and Safety Issues
We all know that the weather in Colorado is day to day. The race will be run no matter what the weather! Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates are not allowed in the race.

What if I can’t run the race?
Our event follows the standard event industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. Once we have received your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable under any circumstances. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be eligible for a 100% credit to another event produced by Colorado Runner Events. I understand that my entry and bib numbers are nontransferable without permission.
If you cannot or choose not to participate, we do allow you to transfer your entry to another person for a fee of $10. This is only allowed up until seven days before the event. We also allow you to transfer your entry into another event produced by Colorado Runner Events for a fee of $10. This is allowed up until 7 days before the event.
We can also mail your packet to you free of charge by switching your entry to the “virtual race.” This option is allowed up until 4 days before the event. After this, please contact us using the form below if you need to switch to the virtual race.
To transfer your entry, you will need to click the “manage your registration” link in your confirmation email. You can also manage your entry from your RunSignUp profile page. Click here to access that page.

Can I switch distances?
Yes, if you register for the race and then would like to switch to a shorter distance, you can do that. There are no refunds if you switch to a shorter distance.
If you would like to go up in distance, you will need to pay the difference in price from your entry to the distance you would like to run before you can switch.
To switch your distance, you will need to click the “manage your registration” link in your confirmation email. You can also manage your entry from your RunSignUp profile page. Click here to access that page.
Both of these options are allowed up until 2 days before the event. After that, please contact us directly to switch distances.

Will the race be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather?
Colorado Runner Events will not be cancel or postpone an event due to cold temperatures, snow, rain, wind or any other inclement weather.
I didn’t get a confirmation email!
First, check your junk email box. If you cannot find it there, check your credit card statement to be sure that your credit card was charged. If it was and you cannot find your confirmation email, please click here. This will allow you to either login or create and account to resend your confirmation email.

My results are not showing up online.
We are sorry to hear that your results are not showing up online. Sometimes, there is a malfunction with the timing tag attached to your bib. Our race timer, HAL Sports, uses multiple back up systems in case this happens. Please click here to contact them and they will respond to your inquiry and post your results. Their staff is out timing races on the weekends, so someone may not respond until they are back in the office.
I placed in my age group. How do I get my award?

Are dogs allowed?
We do allow dogs to run with runners. Please start at the back of the pack or on the outside if you are running with your dog. All dogs within the park must be leashed at all times and dogs running with runners must be confined to a six foot leash or shorter. No retractable leashes are allowed in the race.
Are strollers allowed?
Strollers are allowed at all of our races except for trail races.
Can I walk the race?
Yes, you may walk any distance at any of our events, as long as you can finish within the time limit if there is one.
